About Jessica Bauer, MD, MS, FACOG

Jessica Bauer, MD, MS, FACOG is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

As a fertility specialist, Dr. Bauer is committed to a patient-centered approach to all aspects of fertility and reproduction. She values cultivating relationships with patients, partners and family members in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr. Bauer’s approach to patient care is grounded in education and taking ample time to discuss, create and execute treatment plans that are individualized for each couple.

Dr. Bauer’s areas of interest include fertility awareness and fertility preservation among all individuals who are considering becoming parents. She also enjoys management of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), uterine fibroids, endometriosis, all aspects of male infertility as well as couples interested in the use of egg and sperm donors and gestational carriers (surrogacy). Dr. Bauer is also committed to education and family building in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Dr. Bauer was born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate studies in Neuroscience at Barnard College in New York City. She then received a Masters in Nutrition from Columbia University. She attended medical school at Tufts University in Boston and then returned to New York City for OBGYN residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the University of Colorado in Denver.

Dr. Bauer speaks Spanish and is pleased to serve the diverse South Florida community.

Dr. Bauer lives in Fort Lauderdale with her husband and mini poodle, Penelope. In addition to long walks and the dog park they enjoy boating and eating good food with family and friends. She is thrilled to be part the exceptional IVFMD family and can’t wait to meet you! Dr. Bauer sees patients in the IVFMD Boca Raton office.
